Activities such as jogging, walking, bicycling, and swimming fall into this category.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"aligncenter size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/nichedemosites.com\/Heart_Health\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/choosing-best-excercise.webp\" alt=\"Choosing the Best Exercise for Your Heart\" class=\"wp-image-156\" width=\"800\" height=\"500\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nichedemosites.com\/Heart_Health\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/choosing-best-excercise.webp 800w, https:\/\/nichedemosites.com\/Heart_Health\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/choosing-best-excercise-300x188.webp 300w, https:\/\/nichedemosites.com\/Heart_Health\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/choosing-best-excercise-768x480.webp 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>All of these exercises help you by increasing your heart rate and strengthening the heart muscles and blood vessels.&nbsp; They also help your lungs to work more efficiently.&nbsp; It\u2019s recommended that people participate in at least 30 minutes of cardiovascular activity every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&nbsp;Resistance training<\/em>, which builds strength, is next.&nbsp; These are exercises that focus on strengthening your muscles.&nbsp; When your muscles are strong, you have fewer problems with pain and injury.&nbsp; You also have more muscle tissue, which burns at a higher metabolic rate and helps to keep you lean.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>&nbsp;Exercises like sit ups, push-ups and weight training are strength building<\/em>.&nbsp; It\u2019s recommended that you participate in this type of activity two to three times a week. This type of exercise can be stressful for the heart if you overexert yourself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You need to make sure and check with a physician before you start any exercise program.
